really beautiful spot, and vegan options! I was concerned having only a couple restaurants on premises about having food options. the costs are a premium, but the food was tasty. they have one vegan entree, a spinach mushroom ravioli in a curry coconut sauce (yum) and a salad bar with a couscous and pesto pasta salad option that were vegan friendly. plus veggies and salad of course. Pina coladas are dairy free too
Great views with tables overlooking water. Atmosphere was perfect. Service by Mark was the best. He took good care of us. Salad bar is recommended. Drinks were good. All our food was very good and cooked perfectly except my prime rib. My prime rib was over cooked and not that good. Lots of tough areas and not a quality piece of meat. Overall we had a great time.
Beautiful, festive, historic, filled with gardens, flowers, rustic, rocks and streams andwaterfalls. Having visited on a couple occasions, this large open air design is a great place whether grabbing a quick drink, stopping for lunch or amazing dinner. Fair prices and good food... A must, of course, is the famous hula pie. Mango Ribs are awesome.
Great food. Peaceful and serene atmosphere. Had a great view of Kalapaki Beach. Had a Prime Rib which was very juicy, the salad bar was fresh. There was live music and the staff was very courteous and attentive.
Awe inspiring view off the back seating area. The closest to mainland pricing I’ve seen but the heart of Hawai’i still let me stay on vacation while thinking about “mainland” foods like filet and burgers. Good coconut shrimp with the best chili oil sauce I’ve ever had. Mac nut Mahi-mahi was good. Waitress was perfect. Will be back
Great restaurant. We made reservations for the dining room and the view, staff, food and drinks were excellent. We told them we were in Kauai celebrating our 30th anniversary and they gave us a card and a slice of Hula Pie. We will definitely go back there on our next vacation to Kauai.
This place is amazing! It overlooks the water, the atmosphere in the Barefoot Bar and leading up to the restaurant is serene. Live music was a one/two man but was wonderful entertainment. The bartenders, waitress and all staff we encountered were really kind and personable. And the FOOD! So great!
Loved this place! Great food and something that some restaurants miss in the area... "there's enough of it" you leave full. The Lava Flow is incredibly delicious, and there's a non-alcoholic version which we had... keeps you hydrated for all the hiking you want to do on the island. Service was incredible. Don't skip here when on the island just because you aren't staying at one of the area resorts. Beautiful location, safe and secure The facility is not what you expect from the outside once you enter. It's gorgeous!
